Quick start

- Pick up a case with Left Click on PC or RT on console.
- Read the case and find the matching genre shelf.
- Cycle held cases if needed, then use the same button to place.
If you get stuck
If placement fails, check which case is selected, read the shelf label, and check your platform controls. Stop guessing if the genre is unclear.
Common mistakes
Do not choose a shelf from the case artwork alone, or treat a missing helper result as proof that a case belongs on another shelf.

Follow the same sequence for each case; do not add a shelf answer that the game or a reviewed source has not supported.

Pick up a game case
Move to a scattered case and use Left Click on PC or RT on console to pick it up.

Use the case title and what the game shows you. This guide does not guess a genre from artwork alone.

Find the matching genre shelf
Look for the shelf label that matches the case genre. The official description makes genre matching the central task.

Place the case
Use Left Click on PC or RT on console at the matching shelf. If you are holding several cases, cycle before placing.

Drop or switch when needed
Press Q on PC or B on console to drop. Use Mouse Wheel on PC or LT on console to cycle held cases.
Wrong case selected
Cycle held cases before trying the shelf again.
Case will not place
Check the shelf label and your pickup/place input; do not assume a nearby shelf is correct.
Shelf match unknown
Use the Helper. If it has no reviewed answer, keep the placement unknown.
